Binaural Beats

Play slightly different frequencies into your left and right ear and you perceive a slow beat at the difference between them. Headphones are essential, and the scientific evidence for any effect is still unclear.

The effect is still unclear

There is a claim that brainwaves follow the beat frequency, but the research is mixed and most of it points to a small effect at best. If it does help you focus or sleep, that may simply be the effect of listening to something quiet for a long time. Do not use it as a treatment.
