How the route was chosen
Fewest darts first, then fewest doubles thrown before the last one, then a kinder finishing double (D20, D16), then the biggest opening dart. That rule alone reproduces the familiar routes: 60 is S20 D20, 100 is T20 D20.
What the board offers
Each of 1 to 20 comes as a single, a double and a treble; the outer bull is 25 and the bullseye 50. The most one dart can score is 60, a treble 20.

How to read this
- A leg must end on a double. The bullseye (50) counts as one.
- S20 is a single 20, D16 a double 16, T20 a treble 20.
- Only twenty-one scores go out in a single dart: the twenty doubles and the bull.
- Seven scores cannot be finished in three darts — the ones you must not leave.
