Either you have two moments and want the gap, or you have one moment and an offset and want where it lands. The second is where mistakes hide: adding 90 minutes to 23:30 crosses midnight, and doing that in your head is how meetings get booked on the wrong day.

Not here. Convert both moments to the same zone first, then use this. Crossing zones and a daylight-saving change at once is where most manual errors come from.
Q. Does it handle a span running past midnight?
Yes. Both modes work on full date-and-time values, so crossing midnight, a month end or a year end is handled the same way as any other gap.
Q. Why does the result show days as well as hours?
Because a long gap in hours alone is hard to read. 9,000 minutes means little; 6 days 6 hours means something.
