One number, every unit
Enter a value once and all nine units update together, all derived from the same litre value instead of being converted step by step.
A US gallon and a UK gallon differ by 20%
A US gallon is exactly 3.785411784 L; the UK (imperial) gallon is 4.54609 L — over 20% more. Pints and fluid ounces split the same way. This converter uses the US fluid ounce and gallon, and the UK (imperial) pint.
A "cup" is not the same size everywhere
A Korean or Japanese cooking cup is 200 mL, the US legal cup is about 236.6 mL, and Australia uses 250 mL. This converter uses 200 mL. A teaspoon (5 mL) and tablespoon (15 mL) are the same in most countries, so those are left as is.

Frequently asked questions
QMy cup measurement looks off — why?
Cup size varies by country. This converter uses 200 mL (the Korean/Japanese cooking convention); if your recipe uses a US (≈236.6 mL) or Australian (250 mL) cup, the result will differ from what you expect.
QHow precise are the results?
Eight significant figures. Very large or very small values switch to scientific notation instead of padding out zeros.
